ps. you as a person, are you happier if your government concentrates on making you happy, or if your government gets lost in its try at keeping its power position?

I am not saying that power did not lead to higher living standards / happiness, yet often governments depend too much on their foreign "power" instead of looking at what they could do inside their own nation..

pps. the nations that "matter" change every few centuries (as history shows) so why be proud of something that is bound to change and you yourselve did not create?
