There are always 2 solutions, if d>0 you get 2 real solutions, if d=0 you get a double root solution e.g. 1 and 1. If d<0 you get 2 imaginary solutions.

Thats interesting, when d<0, it means parabola is not reaching x-axis. So this imaginary stuff, how can you show it on diagram, chart, pic.. ? (I dont watch Ricky&Morty, so not good in maths terminology)
