Well the judge explained it quite well. Saying "joke" is not a magic wand, next time some group starts spreading nazi propaganda could erase the charges by saying "just a joke bruh" by this precedent. The Joey Salads loophole.

Also keep in mind that spreading hate towards a cultural, ethnic, national, etc. group is deeply embeded ineuropean law due to history (ya know...ehm... the nazis) and is wastly different (at last concerning the law) from "ah this fella can't take an offensive joke". Because things you say have consequences.
