I hate these kinds of Strawman arguments. Sadly, these are something like 90+% of all "defense" attempts from people who argue that nerd/gamer/comic/tech cultures are sexist. They conjure up some imaginary douche that embodies every criticism aimed at these people and have this puppet strawman.
