Well first of all this is a post from an ungrateful generation, my pops keeps telling me that he is amazed of how (and I quote) "this little device can store that much records" and let me tell you its not an Ipod by the way, I'm not an apple fanboy, but it seems that this generation can't get enough, and man I used to listen my music on tapes and cd's and compared to todays tech, its way more comfortable so if you dont like what we have today freeze your self till you can get something that can satisfy your "high standars" because it seems that you dont appreciate what you parents give you with a hard earned money

So you're saying no one is buying them with their own hard-worked for money?

To be fair, the only decent point here is the one mistake. It's really easy to order your music and its even easier to play it, i can sort by album artist etc. I can trade music just by sending it to other people, with vinyl when you share it you can't listen to it until they give it back. The sound quality is analog so of course it's going to be better, no digital product can beat analog vinyl.

OR you can download music in HQ, many artist make their songs downloadable for free. If you like his music, you can donate him for futher work. But in this system there isn't space for corporations and distributors, so Apple or any other big music corporation won't use it.

i'm just gonna completely agree with this. bring back the old "shit"!
alextfodor · 3 points · 12 years ago

Just dont buy stuff from itunes, then you actually have the music so if you mess up your ipod its all on your computer and you can get it back with no problems.
Honas · 1 points · 12 years ago
an ipod is not made for hq music experience, its made so its possible for you to listen to your music will on the move.... you cant have 40.000 cd's or lp's in your bag...

*** you're an ungrateful little trashtalker and if you don't want people to like apple stop posting about them

What if i told you that there are other music players/phones than Apple?
kennyespinaz · 1 points · 12 years ago
well there are programs to transfer music and to fix the sound quality but nothing really can beat the sound of a vinyl record. Also most of the iPods we have now are a waste of money the early generations had more gigs and even the 1st gen touch has a longer battery life than any of the other generations after it

That's why you should put the music on your PC and make some back ups of it too.
You can easily organize it, just put it in maps ranked by bands/artists.
And the best thing is if you have a mobile phone instead of a Ipod or Iwhatever,
you can share the files by bluetooth.
The best thing is, the music is free for the pirates. And if you'd just buy better headphones I'd be
sure the sound quality is a lot better, perhaps download the 320 kb/s instead of lower, but I know, for some old music there isn't any 320 kb/s format, but whatever. I just found out this is for Apple only. Okay, I agree, Apple is way too expensive while you can buy a mobile phone from Samsung or another good brand for at least the price x0,33.
And you can do LOTS and LOTS more stuff on it.

well, nobody forces you to use apple products, go buy your vinyls and stop crying about how all was better when you were young.
freddy19911 · 1 points · 12 years ago
Oh you hate all of the Apple products? Well, they still don't give a ***.
celia90 · 0 points · 12 years ago
Sooooo.... keep your music that way, nobody cares if you like Apple or not sincerely.

Are you kidding me??
You cannot possibly think that an 80s technology is better than the 2010s technology.
If you had, for example, about a thousand songs you would need a huge and very expensive bookcase to store them while now you can store them in a tiny device. Furthermore you needed to buy the bookcase, buy the turntable buy numerous CDs and buy all the vinyls, while now all you have to do is buy the ipod which does not even cost half of the cost of the stuff I mentoined before.
