I can confirm this is true. As a non-native speaker, many people actually believe that I don't understand any slang and when someone said: "I wrote a rap once, it was called "smashing hoes with ma niggas"", I was like, "sorry, I don't know these words, could you explain that?" After an awkward pause, I got: "Attacking women with my companions"

if you make racist/sexist jokes you should be able to handle explaining the joke.. I mean, explaining a really ***ed up joke might actually be kinda fun
