Unasked-for Captain explains:
Apparently some famous ice-cream maker in Venezuela closed his ice-cream business in Christmas (there being summer now - EDIT: Winter, but averaging over 20ºC) due to the lack of milk in the country.
Reality is he´s opposed to the government there and just made a big fuzz out of his habit of coming back to Portugal (where he´s originally from) every Christmas. Every other ice-cream businesses are operating just as normal. Therefore, Venezuela denies that a crisis exists.

Ist1984, Is winter in Venezuela now, we're in the northern hemisphere, but the temperature only drops like 5 degrees celsius. Also, the ice-cream business is in the coldest state in the country.
