The problem is we were under the impression that we could post anything as long as we were in the top 10, as that is what the admins claimed. We were tasteful about it just posting edgy humour, they just banned him even though he was and is in the top 10

that happens quite often. believe it or not, but HL has gotten much "edgier" in the last few months. the admins somehow decided that even the slightest implication of edgy content is banworthy, which lead to a huge riot from the users (there were posts from facebook or 9gäg that weren't banned there, but they were banned on HL). being banned on HL happens quite often, and it seems like the admins don't hold their promise of not banning any top10 user anymore.

i guess it's the only time when HL actually gets creative. the time when everybody posted literal edgy stuff was the most original phase of HL since the split.
