We work more, but achieve less. End of story. You say some don't work, true, but that also applies to the Germans too. To everybody. Perhaps less, i don't know. But i know that the man power in Greece is badly managed. So the real problem in Greece, and most of the other European countries, is bad management and the waste of the man power.
Super simple stuff. The Germans are not the laziest. The achieve more in less time, compared to the others. But if you were not a perjudiced ------ you would have understood that from the begining. The chart says four things,
1 Most hour worked = Fact, no opinion
2 Most productive = Fact, no opinion, it's simple math
3 Fewest hours worked = Fact, no opinion
4 Least productive = Fact, no opinion whatsoever, simple math again.

So you try to fit me an opinion in these numbers? Be careful when you reply. I told you that we work. My whole argument was based on the "Maybe start working" caption, and you moved on to making extending this.
So,
1. the proof is that we do work the most hours.\
2. Germany is working for the less hours. |------> So?
3. Germany has better productivity /

So that means Greece works many hours, maybe some people don't work much as they should, but some others are working too much compared to their wages, resulting anyways, into the fact that we work more. I know, i've seen friends, parents and people i know, ive dealt with the unending papperwork some times too, and you can't know how much some people work.

So please accept two things

Greece is generaly a country of hard working people
and that our efforts are not well coordinated.

The Germans are ahead of us in many domains, and that is the reason why they achieve to work less hours and producing more. Nobody said the opposite.

Now on the Czech and German part. You mean to tell me all these people accepted the cuts because they saw the problem. But what if i told you that the problem in Greece was concealed way better? Very little people knew about the real economic state of the country before '09. But is this the fault of the people? Yes, perhaps, we took time to accept what the reality was coming to be, it is true. But seeing how big was the buble and how well concealed it was, I think even the Germans would react. Imagine a German, one guy tells him " Oi, got 1000 euroes (example) of pay? Ok, consider the 70% lost. Good luck surviving with the rest".
Remember? That is what happened more or less after the first World War. Did the Germans accept that and bowed? No, they rebeled, there were clashes etc etc.
And in the end, for what? Money the government gave him when telling him, it's all right, there is no problem at all? Yeah, my people should have totaly knew what was happening, we are all economologists.

Besides, you talk to me about these two, but hey, the Dutch government said it would issue cuts. The people did not agree with that, so they ousted (or the government ousted itself) from power. The Dutch are not in the worst of the economical shapes, are they?

Lastly, i never said Greece was fabulous. So here, you make up your whole argument over reading somethign and assuming stuff, only in the end for the pleasure (?) to prove that the Greeks are scum.
You know what word would stick to the people doing that? A biggot.

To conclude, there is a theory about the whole crisis being a game between the Chinese and the USA, where the Chinese had many American bonds and seeing the Euro coming into power started flirting with European bonds, destabilizing and eventually lowering the Dollar (Which did happen, perhaps not for that reason, but the dollar was at a fall). The USA seeing it lost quite a lot of money just looked at the map of Europe and searched for the weakest link. The first was Greece.
This is no conspiracy theory, it's how interests work in the world market. Or the world payground. The playground of the ones with power and interests, and their will to conserve them.

Yeah, everybody starts protests when they have their wages cut but the Greeks are unique when it comes to this. 13th salary, vacation extra and others. That article is zero. Germans are the laziest ? Hello ? When they work, they work. I can say I work 2 hours and practically do nothing while someone else works 1 hour and does things right. I don't think the Germans are the laziest people and yet they manage to get things work, do they ?
Back to wages cut protests thing. What about the Czech, Germans "etc etc" ? They understood the situation and didn't brag about it. Now tell me more about how fabulous Greece is. A friend has both his parents working there for years and I know some things about them.
