A life of indulgence is not worth living, my friend, as it comes with perils, suffering and the death of the soul. Stay strong and in the path of progress. You got this

This, if you take note of any famous people who are honest in an interview, they’ll tell you the life of indulgence comes with an insatiable appetite, they truly mean something when they say they can’t get no, satisfaction.

I'm trying to live a life worth living but I'm failing. The evolution of though than goes to do not try at all and live what you are served. OP's comment seems very appealing, I think about it every couple days or so. Feeling cute might abandon myselfe later

I haven't set foot in a church in 15 years and I'm not religious at all, my brother.
The concept of momentary pleasure to the detriment of long term happiness is as old as humans themselves. If you want proof, eat cake everyday (or whatever you like the most) for a couple years and report back on your happiness, fulfillment and self-respect levels. ;-)

This actually sound quite intersting. But I might have fallen victim to the romantization of it in movies...

Not sure what you'd have to sacrifice to make it happen, but if the thought is attractive to you then I think it may be worth trying for a year or so.
I think a lot of common advice is based on potentially-false premises (e.g. judaio-christian) rather than science.
Further, AFAIU science cannot produce guidelines that are correct for every human at least because the genetic composition of each human is different.
