Never really understood these goodbyes. I've had my account for 12 years and it's been on and off activity wise but i never thought of deleting even when i had to disappear (work related) for months. I have a memorable laugh every now and then when i go read the posts i liked and it is one of the last, if not actually the last, website that, at its core, has remained more or less the same. The only thing that has changed is probably the 120k active users that has probably gone down to 110k, but other than that it's the same autistic cringe content adapted for the current events. Hear me out but jury duty is such an idiotic concept. Wtf does a random joe, who binge watches the kardashians on TV and is easily impressionable know about a judging on a court case. Thank God we have none of that in Europe, I can't imagine being convicted because a few randos said "ackchually yes, guilty"... Don't get me wrong, judges aren't infallible, but I'd rather take a professional than a bunch of dudes. Insane how accepted it is in the American culture.
