Let me show to you with an example.

imagine a burger. I might say i don't like the flesh, the bread, the sauce, or whatever. Imagine you still think that the burger tastes good. That's ok with me and you know why? because that's your opinion.

Now let me show you another example.

Now you compare your taste of food with the one of a poor little asian boy. This boy has no parents, no money and all he gets to eat every day is simply a tiny bowl of rice, but because he's so hungry, he gobbles it up. To him, the plain rice is the most delicious thing on earth. When the you, which likes burgers, says to him that the rice does not taste as delicious as the little boy claims, he will deny it. He will defend his rice because its the only thing that eases his hunger.
Of course the boy never even heard of a burger. And if he's not a ***in brickhead he will agree that the burger is better then the rice ones he tries it. But he doesn't, so there's not way could change his mind. He'll always think the rice is the best thing on earth.

I think every normal person would've understood it by now, but because i don't want to tell you the same thing again ill explain it to you:
I: The burgerlover
The rice: shitmemes (this in particular)
You: the little asian boy

moral of the story: if you had ever tasted the real fun, what HugeLol once was and now isn't anymore, you would agree that these retarded shitmemes are just outright boring. But you don't try it out, you don't even want and because the shitmemes are the only thing you know you will defend them thinking that they are funny

Oh, the irony!!!

(and because i think that someone who shitposts won't get it ill explain it: he complains that people don't post anything funny while he himself creates the biggest shitmeme of all)

because:
1. of the shitposts in general,
2. the unfunny posts in particular,
3. because they post pictures of food/animals,
4. because they copy everything just from ***,
5. because they use it to confess and tell the community about their hopes and dreams
6. or everything together? (that would be the case for me)

i hate to admit it, but you're right. Back in the good old days i browsed through fresh and found funny stuff and oc. Now there are only the shitmemes like confession bear and shit like that. Hugelol isn't dying. It's already dead. Time to bury it
