I was working as a security officer, patrolling on nightshift and I responded to a burglary-alarm. I was speeding to reach the location faster (it's illegal but almost everyone does it).
Police stops me, gives me 800€ speeding ticket and takes my driving license away for a month.
I then experienced a burnout and had to quit my job. Months passed but I just didn't have energy to go to police station to get my drivers license back. I just assumed that it doesn't matter if I don't have the plastic card with me because if police would stop me, they could just check on their laptop that I'm allowed to drive again.
Well, police did stop me and they say that I'm not allowed to drive.
It turns out that the driving license doesn't renew automatically, you have to get the plastic card from the police station first.
Police writes me another 700€ ticket for driving without license.

I wasn't even angry, just sad.

This line is poorly translated and widely misunderstood. More accurate meaning would be "Life involves suffering".

I once read in a Finnish newspaper something that translated like this: "Man who ate too much bath-salt stabbed neighbors midget-goat to death while wearing women's underwear"

I used to roll around in grass on our yard, but 2 out of 3 times I was attacked by fire ants if I stayed on same spot for too long. Finland btw

These are tourist traps in countries like Thailand. The elephants are "taught" to paint the correct picture. These pictures are then sold to tourists.
Lots of beating and pain is involved.

Cellphones don't need to be charged in prison, thats why they are called "cellphones".
