First of all, you clearly did not properly read what I said about the amount of upvotes. I was obviously talking about 2016. Back in 2016, before and after the bots we had a 150 plus upvotes on avg. if I was talking about 2012 I would be saying 500+. we can now barely get 100 plus on your avg post on front, of course though there are outliers.

Second, most people easily ignored the bots, there were plenty of list, some even got gold telling you the names of each and everyone. New bots were not getting made everyday and even of the ones we knew only ten were actually commonly posting everyday. The others at most posted a few times every two or three days. We can even argue the bots were better because they could at least post some good ones and if they made reposts we could just downvote them and report them. now we got grey face lv post being the thing advertised to new users and mobile users don't even want to browse. The problem of users dropping is currently happening and I have known many users that we common placed names (and I'm not talking about 2014) I mean 2016-2017 who have either left or plan to leave because they dislike the state of affairs here. The site is dying. I never expected it to get to a thousand plus upvotes, I'm not unrealistic, I just didn't want us to once again lose a good chunk. Another good chunk has left

On the respost thing I will say it is better than before ,but the repost I usually see aren't even a month old and make it to rising. I have no problem with repost on fresh now, the problem comes when it comes to rising.

There are a host of problems here.
1. Bots are back. What do you think viral is? Inb4 "you can ingore them", we could do the same to the bots (there was an ignore certain users feature) ,but we all still did what we can to get rid of them.
2. Reposters are still abundant, I haven't gone more than a day without seeing a repost. The repost even get up to rising sometimes
3. The admins are still here and they have banned people for dumbasf reasons back when I left.
4. Haven't you noticed the avg post has way less upvotes? I mean look around compared to last yr we had way more upvotes the avg post. Front usually had 150+ now we have 100 for front post (some don't even make that) with a shit ton of extremely meh post making rising. This means we are losing users and post quality in general is down.

This is why I left. I did what I could for nearly two yrs, but shït ain't changing.

If you guys want to know what happened to me. I essentially, kind of didn't feel like being on hl. I have mixed feelings on the site at this point and I just don't like being on it right now. I'd hardly call this intense. This is your avg internet shit. I did look into this though and apparently the big reason was because the school made a settlement for emotional damages and attorney fees. I wager the attorney fees are the reason dude got so much and the fact the school just wanted to be done with it as it was bad PR.

The only thing I could say is intense is that she/he claimed that teachers were conspiring to use the gender neutral bathroom in order to not let she/he use it.

The school did an investigation and nothing was proven according to one of the articles.

Anyway the problem in my opinion is that teachers in the district can get fired if they did not use the correct pronoun or fined now. What happens if on accident they used the wrong pronoun?
