Well written but as you said, she is making a bold statement and clearly does not display any kind of deep knowledge on the subject besides MUH SOCIAL CONTSTRUCTZ so she has a point only by chance. And besides, that genetic condition is not the norm and could be considered a disorder since it has no biological purpose or gives any advantage.
