We humans don't need evolution per se to "adapt" to new environments...we have brains to figure out ways to survive in say extremely cold or hot environments. Evolution is a change in a population's gene frequencies...it is constantly occurring. But it doesn't exclude a god form lets say sending gamma rays from space to cause mutations or influencing your mind to select your mating partner...a soul mate...but SOME ideas of souls that are completely immaterial but determine personality and everything was made 4 thousand years ago to be made to look a lot older are just plan nonsense. Also...the other side of evolution can't be consistent with perfect god is that a perfect god would have no reason to involve itself in the process of evolution. If it had or gave sometime a purpose (evolve into a human), what would be the use if one is a perfect being?
