For years since fate has led me away from 6Gag, I have scrolled leagues through this site and its many pages, letting the memes my fill lungs with laughter and my heart with wonder as I gazed upon the first gifs. But those were many days ago.

We live in much more turbulent times, where our Lords lay a heavy hand and the sighs of dissidence and concord become more frequent each day. I am no prophet, but I fear the chapter of this great internet refuge may be drawing to close. But before we close our eye, I have a simple, yet daunting request.

I call upon those who have come before me; those who have seen the first light since the emancipation from wretched 6gag, to chronicle the journey of Hugelol! From gifs to webm. From Gandalf to Helix. From bread to bots. From Shaftdude to purge. From Mods to 3.0. From dawn to dusk, illustrate what we have accomplished, with the roses and with the thorns.

I am fully aware of the gravity of this request, which is countered still by the need of a champion to see this quest fulfilled. I have no gifts to bare or karma to share, but the praise from the community may be compensation fair, and perhaps Lord Admin may lay favor with you.
