It's no rule, it's proove by contradiction.
If the wall is uncrossable, it is a wall which you can not cross, if you do it can not be a uncrossable wall.
This proove is mainly aimed at invalidating absolutes. If something IS almighty, it has contradicting propertys.
Logic tells us, that there is nothing that is absolute, nothing is almighty.

And, imagine a world god has influence in. He influences it, therefore he direct some actions to a specific aim. This would be dictatorship as everything you do can and propably will be directed to a specific aim you did not choose, the total opposite of freedome god gave us.

And, there can not really be a proove of the noexistance of god, as the concept "god" is neither bound to something physical nor mathematically. God is out of reach. But there can not be a proove for it either because of that properties.
But, I personally, do not think there is something wrong with the concept of "god" or religion. Most religions are based upon social rules like beeing nice to people around you, beeing helpful, not to kill or steal.
What is a problem are people being total dicks about it. Triing to force their personal believes on others, spreading hate on anything new or different, gaining or securing power in the name of some "god".
That is the kind of shit that started wars, terror, hate, murdering, stealing and beeing the total opposite of what you should be, as a good "christ"/"muslim"/"jew"/whatever.

It does not proove the existence of god, it is a proof that there is something in his system which has to be so called "god".
But the main problem with this kind of proove are the assumntions made, which are far of the world. In his system a property is either positive or negetive, but in the real world a property can be both, depending from where you are viewing it.

Also, there is a proove against god:
If god is almighty, he can build a wall which even god can not cross, therefore god is not almighty.

And, to finish this off: The mighty Theodicy question leading to the point, that God has absolutly no influence on what happens on earth, making it useless to pray for aid other than psychological.
