And during each of these times, it has been known that "Native" born Americans retaliated against them. They did against each of those eras. In fact, it was when the Polish and Italians started immigrating in large numbers, because they felt threatened by the new incoming immigrants. Claiming that they would dilute "American" Culture. this isn't about racism because even whites have been unwanted by "Native" born Americans.
