I saw a movie with an idea similar to this: humans who chose to have this sort of bracelets implanted in their arms, would see a countdown on the bracelet. And when the timer hit 0.0.0 that would be the exact moment you would meet your soulmate. And I think also the bracelet would make a beeping sound if you where ever close to your soulmate.
