I am a manager - i need people bad - i work in a professional field in which you need some cognitive capabilities but you dont have to be a genius.
In the last 5 recruits
One had sever depression and was working 1-3 days off 2 weeks on sick leave.
In the first year she had 50 working days.
Second worked somewhat okay for a month - then claimed back pain and 3 month leave. Followed by quiting.
Third turn out to be so fukin stupid she couldn't calculate "-1.5 + 2.5 ". Based on the fact somewhat good math knowledge is necessary she was offed.
Fourth - good worker - young Gen Z or whatever- smart - learns fast - but 0 experience in the field or working with clients- we are providing her training and her starting salary is full - in Germany very often when someone is in training - Azubi - they get only 700-900 euros for 3 years. She gets full salary AND training. After 3 months she asks me - when will i get more money.
I was confused - she wanted basically the same or more then me.
She left to do a training somewhere for 860 euros a month but with the promise that after 3 years she will make big bucks.
Fifth - officially trained in the field somewhere else - made endless mistakes - after 6 months she goes - that's too much work I'm gonna travel the world now. Bye.
And btw - we pay very well! Statistically better the almost any other company in the same field.
So yeah - its true nobody wants to work - and they don't want to work because the government pays them to stay home.
And if they happen to want to work - they would do so only for 10k euro a month for taking 0 responsibility and only from home with 50 vacation days a year.
When you are on the other side you will very fast see how arrogant, stupid and demanding those worthless people are.
