This weekend is my daughter 2 years old birthday. Whike I'm happy for her, I dread the family reunion and all that bas to be done to feed and accomodate 15 people.
As always, she is going to be spoiled with presents too big, too full of plastics, pure consooming, just because we're the first of the generation to have a child.

At times like this, I feel a deep dissonance between how i view the world and who I have become, forced by golden shackles to live a lifestyle of permanent compromise, waste and soullessness while I yearn for absolute.
