Oh my. So much stupid.
1) Cancer is a set of diseases. Different cancer types can differ a lot and as such a single panacea-like cure is not really an option. "Curing cancer" is not something you can do.
2) Aids does NOT cure cancer. The virus itself (HIV) can be modified (Which amounts to ripping all of the "bad stuff" out of it) and then used to treat *certain* types of cancers in *certain* experiments
3) Cancer is mostly slow and even with the treatments we have, remission is possible. If you want a disease to prevent overpopulation, pick something more effective
