I broke off contact with a very close friend this week. Got tired of asking her to please stop shoving her religion down my throat. I have a lot of church bullshid in my past so it makes me super goddamn uncomfortable, no matter if it's traditional or new age. I've told her a hundred times I don't want to hear it, and I finally got tired of my boundary not being respected. I told her I wouldn't be in touch for a while, but truthfully I'm considering making this a permanent disconnection. Not really sure what the right move is, or what I want, I'm just tired of holding her hand and explaining things over and over. She's 30 years older than me, I shouldn't have to tell her "no means no"
