i'm as disappointed by this post as (probably) all older HL users. but when i said "immature" i meant post that at least intend to be funny, just with an immature humour like dickbutt (which was most likely invented by some 12-year old) or the satisfaction of seeing some a**hole getting downvoted because he was a prick (to get back to the topic). define "immature". if you think about it the whole concept of memes is immature and also pretty retarded (e.g. doge, dickbutt) but we still laugh about it. so yes, i think it's ok to post those. but you are right about this post, it's not funny and therefore i haven't upvoted it (just like any other unfunny post)

"it's directly proportional"? why would that be? if you post immature content to an immature website it will be considered high quality, since that's what page exists for. if you were to post a serious, mature article to like /b/ it would be considered trash. quality is in the eye of the beholder, and you should know what hugelol stands for. maturity is something for real life, not for the internet
