Sure, the Jordan flowing backwards only when the Orthodox Patriarch throws the cross into the river is a hoax. The Holy Light which only comes when the Orthodox Patriarch enters the Tomb at Easter is also a hoax, right? And all of this does in no way prove that the God described in the Bible is real, does it? Look it up if you will, though you'll probably not find it on any mainstream news sites, which you believe to be the ultimate speakers of truth. Because there hasn't been a single instance of the media ever hiding or distorting the truth, has there?
Also, just because at some point some people (i.e. the Pope and the Catholic Church) used religion to control or, say, bully people doesn't make it untrue or a bad thing. Also liked your not so subtle reference to my supposed weakness of mind. I'm sorry to disappoint, but I've been the top student in my faculty (engineering) the past two years (out of roughly 600 students). I'm not saying this to prove myself your superior or anything like that but if you're trying to find a reason for my faith other than it being true, you might as well tick stupidity, weakness of mind etc. off the list.
EDIT: Also forgot to mention: there are people (even recent times) who have endured torture and some have given their lives for their Orthodox Christian beliefs. No one would do that if faith was just a product of the mind. If man was truly just an evolved monkey then self-conservation and fear of pain would have kicked in long before death, leading to those people relinquishing God just to avoid what they had coming.

The world sucks because man has made it suck through his actions, at the devil's behest. Also, a 2000 years old myth confirmed by God knows how many individual miracles and 3 miracles which happen yearly in the Holy Land for everyone to see.

The cloud on Mount Tabor - on the day of the Transfiguration.
The reversed flow of the Jordan - on the day of the Baptism of Jesus
The Holy Light - Easter
There you go: three Marvels, that, as far as I'm aware, happen each year.

You know, you could just go read the books, which have been out for years, if you really care that much about the series as to complain when having it spoiled.

But if the train were moving at a speed comparable to the speed of light, it wouldn't be impossible for the child to be his.

Also, the media almost always lies when it comes to this kind of thing. I really don't want to get into conspiracy theories though, so let's just say there are some out there who'd rather people didn't know the truth (and not only about religion).
Also, those people who crashed into the tower crashed because they thought they'd get an arbitrary number of virgins in the afterlife. The people I'm talking about died (or were tortured) because they loved God, because they knew He was Living and worth giving your life for.
Following your line of reasoning, I've never seen a dinosaur fossil in person, so how would I know they are real? Seriously though, I'm not discarding the existence of dinosaurs, but for all I know they could have been contemporary with us. Also, I'd rather not take the word of the "scientific" community on fossil dating. And obviously I'm not science phobic, otherwise I wouldn't be studying engineering. I just believe that true science doesn't contradict the existence of God, but even confirms it.
By the way, natural selection doesn't work. If it did, the homo sapiens wouldn't have become the homo stupidus he is today.
Anyway, let's just call it quits, because, truly, it's quite annoying to have most of my points refuted on grounds of delusion when to me you're just as delusional as I seem to you. Besides, this whole discussion would never have taken place if people kept anti-Christian posts out of a site that is supposed to be "for fun".
