In our european society we have regular handles.. Where you will either have dead bolt, or a micro switch. With a micro switch you would have to saw it off, then jimmy it to get it open..
And most residential doors would face the other way around. My company does occasionally do contract work for the police... we will drill the lock basically every single time. Or more specifically we will attack it with a dremel.

I do not understand why people want to work for mega corporations.
I've never once worked in a company with more than 100 employees, and I probably never will. If I have no direct way of reaching the man on top, the company is too large and should be split up.
