One of those things you insert into yourself so you more easily can lay eggs. I dont think its necessary, more for safety and cleanliness reasons.

This does nothing except not letting you reset it.

Yet another win for rich people..

She actually said that in a podcast. It was a concept they had. A monthly fee and the mouse would receive updates.. Tho it must also be stated the idea was to create a mouse so good it would last forever.
So the fee would be necessary in order to justify it from a buisness perspective. And giving out frequent firmware/software updates as well as build quality would be how they justified it to consumers.

Basically selling it at a loss and gambling that many consumers would use it for 10+ years.

But to be fair I don't think she is that out of touch, it seems it was merely something which was mentioned as part of brainstorming, and not actual plans.

Sure you can say that. But then, looking at it from a more socialist tandpoint. When an entity owns it and has no economic incentive to do anythng with it, they wont do anything with it. Which then screws over everyone who actually want the product. If they own it and dont want to use it for no other reason than they would not get a return on investements it should be released to the public domain. Of course it should never be as black and white as that.
But imagine the most extreme case if, for example if medicine has the same laws, a company could just sit at the cure for cancer and not care to do athing about it cause it costs 5 billion and no one can buy it.Sure, they put i the work, and should have the rights to make money off it, but if they wont they should not be allowed to just safeguard it for a human lifetime.
I'd arue the fact everyone accept medicine is special is in itself a argument that nothing should be special. And our economic system should rather be an insentive to increase innovation and production, rather than just maximize potential capital gains.
There are plenty of reasons, and plenty of exceptions which does not allow them to do that, But it all comes down to what you believe in, some would say the company who came up with the cure for cancer should be allowed to not release it indefinetly, cause they make more money from medical care.

Generally, no. But there has been instances as far as far as Ive seen of coporations enforcing it 5+ years later. Tho I can not confirm that, but the internet tells me there has been cases. Tho I would never "download a car", so it could be "propaganda".

Also, it does not really matter if it is enforced or not. Cause that is a civil matter.. So it only takes one corpo to be greedy in the aftermath for someone to have their life destroyed.

That's not a fact... that is a question..

I always back things up as long as it is free. To destroy the revenue of mega corps. I've never once payed any attention to the backups after Ive uploaded a terrabyte of data which is now their responsibility to safeguard.

That just describes half the world tho, what's special about hollywood except the child obsession, corruptions and extreme greed?
