If average intelligence changes, IQ scoring is recalibrated to keep the average IQ the same. IQ doesn’t alone tell absolute intelligence, just one’s ranking among humans. Post should say average intelligence increase of 20%.

Nobody denies Floyd’s death being absurd. They deny it being sufficient evidence of systematic racism. Even assuming that the police wouldn’t have killed him if he was white (which there is no evidence of), a cherry picked sample size of 1 would represent nothing of the millions of police interactions per year. There are many absurd cases of whites getting unjustly killed by the police; the cases just don’t linger on the media for as long.

If the fine money is mostly spent back on the poor(which it is), the situation could be much better for the poor in general than for the rich in general.

But sure, a fine may hit an individual poor person harder, given most of their income is their salary (and not for example income support).
