The problem isn't that she deserved to die- no one does. Nor is the problem that people bullied too much her for what she did. The problem is that thousands of people commit suicide every week and we're focusing on her- for what?! For receiving the consequences for her own actions. She did this stuff to herself, she CHOSE to. Amanda was not the victim people say she was. I know she was important. Everyone's important and nobody deserves to die, especially via suicide, but why is someone who chose to do such terrible things and she could not handle the consequences. What about Shania Gray? She died last month very tragically and nobody knows about that. SHE was a victim. Furthermore, an excerpt from the Facebook of 4chan-
"We should be talking about the ones who were bullied and managed to survive through it all. The success stories. Because that's what gives kids hope, the ones who know what it's like to be in their shoes. The ones who have walked that road before and came out ok.
What kind of message does it send to impressionable teens that if you go ahead and kill yourself that you will get thousands of likes on a facebook page and everyone will feel sorry for you and give you attention? If you have any self respect for the future then you'd stop and think about where your morals are"
