I personally think that saying that the story is bad is overstatement. You could say some lack of motivation, not paying proper tribute to Joel, including some PC stereotypes, but even that the Abby looked like a tank, not like a woman (yes she is a woman, not a trans) her part made most emotional and logical sense. Still bit shame that they didn't tribute characters from first game better since they were the thing that made the game so great.
Graphics and gameplay is better but not 7 year of improvement by perfect studio on perfect game.
For me still 8.5/10
