How does it execute that independence? It's quite dependent on foreign and EU capital. The whole "noo we don't like EU, polan stronk" attitude is just smoke and mirrors for xenophobic voters which make the bulk of the population. It does not have a strict immigration policy either, where did you get that from? Family policy is shit, the 500+ act is a populist drop in the ocean, the public sector job security is nonexistent, the minimum wage is terrible (they ARE pushing it upwards a bit, i'll give them that), the state of healthcare is probably the lowest in all Europe. Also, the current novelization of abortion policy will most likely lead to futher birthrate drop, so much for family policy. Public funds are constantly leaking and vanish in corrupt deals. Also, add the fossil fuel lobby to the list and see the air quality map for the country. Educated youth is constantly fleeing Poland, cause there is no future for them there.
