That may be, but if the purpose of cryptocurrency is to depend less on the government, I wouldn't count on government help to implement it.

The issue I personally have with cryptocurrency is that it has no purpose other than speculation.
I understand that Bitcoin was initially created to become a currency that depends on no national bank, which is great, but in real life there is almost nowhere where you can pay with bitcoin outside of some weird crypto bars and dark web drugs.
To me, it makes no sense to invest in a product that solves no real-life problem.

But then again, my nose does honk when I press on it so what do I know

I just think its worrysome that the government has a say on what media and entertainment say about them, that's all. But there are bigger problems in the world than Kimmel going out of business, I'll give you that.
