Social studies (I think, not sure if that's the correct English term); you had to write a report on an issue from the news, and talk about how it affects society. He chose the specific subject himself.

Fact: in official (biological) terms, a tomato is a fruit. However, it is commonly referred to as a vegetable. Thus, it is considered both a fruit (by biologists) and a vegetable (by the rest). However, the post implies it is officially acknowledged as both a fruit and a vegetable, which is false indeed.
