I had a teacher in highschool who was really into old movies. He had a coffee cup that said FLICKERS on the bottom and every time someone said something stupid and disruptive in class, he would take a big gulp from that mug and flash the word FLICKERS at the student.

Anyway this teacher was always pretty good to me and so I decided to tell him that by accident, it looked like the bottom of his mug had an obscene word. He just grinned and said "Not an accident".

I allways think of this image when I feel socially obligated to act a certain way. Miss that man so much
