Ekans as everyone knows is just snake spelled backwards, so what did the Germans do? Called it Rettan which is just Natter (a type of Snake) spelled backwards because Egnalhcs (Schlange spelled backward) looked too weird.

Alakazam --> Simsala (because in German it goes abra kadabra simsala bim... so why isn't it called Simsalabim?)
Grimer/Muk --> Sleima / Sleimok
Hitmonlee --> Kicklee (BECAUSE HE KICKS YOU IMBECILS)
