Actually my main problem with this post is that I cannot think of a more generic use for this meme. Might as well be a Bad Luck Brian that reads "I was really unlucky today" or a Scumbag Steve that reads "This guy is a douche".

Yep even if it doesn't have all the bells and whistles you can use plug-ins.

Can't say for certain. I jumped from Cubase SX3.1 to Cubase 6. From what I know the main difference is 6 features the new VST 3.5 standard.
