It isn't what I was referring to. The original comment can be reduced to "there's no killing in picking up kids from soccer practice, so theoretically the parents who would kill for their family, never said they would do anything else besides killing". If you were to only accept deductive reasoning, that would be all you could infer.

Now, if you accepted inductive reasoning, you could say "anyone who kills for their family, would also do smaller things".
