Deep stupidity required to argue against it

(Btw, I used your metaphor... so maybe you should get better at your gymnastics)

Correct. How does that in any way subvert thejpimp's point? People in high places tend to give themselves high salaries regardless of the way money is channeled. But taxes being used to pay for numerous things you enjoy regardless of your personal wealth still stands.
Don't tell me you'd be pro taxes if politicians accepted some pay cuts...

If we're talking kids here, they live permanently subsidized, as long as they are kids. The state (parents) take care of all their needs, even ice cream, for absolutely nothing. If they had to depend on their own labor to survive creating wealth to sell in the markets, they wouldn't survive a couple of days.
Maybe you want to rethink your metaphor.

If you configure the IA to base it's tastes on what people like, then you'll pick up people's biases as well in the end result.
Considering that what people consider is unbiased imputs is a little bit naive. You can take a look at ideal body types and how they've changed several times from the 50s onwards. People's tastes are as influenced by surrounding structure as anything else.

Wonder no more. If your favourite strawman example would've said anything, the backlash would've been some memes and no further repercussions whatsoever. As always. That horrifying alternative reality would look like this:
