I find this comment slightly narrow-minded. Games - much like the fashion shows you mentioned - is a hobby, or an interest. These things fill up peoples lives in different variations, and have nothing to do with gender, nor nationality. Many girls enjoy spending countless hours on computer games, just like guys, and some guys (Not many, I might have to admit) probably enjoy different aspects of the fashion community, and should not be judged by that. True, that some girls brag about being "Gamer-gurls", which is a misinterpretation of the term, but don't degrade the gender as a whole, by saying that all girls who 'brag' about being good at games, are lying. :)

When it comes to the PC vs. Console-war, there is really no arguing. People of course have their preferences, and they are allowed to, but if you look at each individual aspect, PC wins every time. The user-interface is more sophisticated, the configuration-options are endless, the games are modifiable, more games are released, the possibility for easy upgrading is there, instead of just buying an entire new gaming station, and I could go on and on. Of course, some prefer the controllers on consoles, and yeah I do admit - there are some games that are more multiplayer-friendly, social-wise, but you gotta admit - the PC is the most optimal gaming station, for any dedicated gamer out there!

I completely agree, your argument is solid! There are several reasons why this system does not - or would not - work in other countries. One of these reasons, which I mentioned, is the level of corruption in the government, but furthermore as you state, the amount of people living in the country.

I am absolutely not hating on any other countries, quite the opposite. I am a huge fan of traveling, and have been to almost every continent several times! My comment was meant to justify and explain the Scandinavian behavior when it comes to drinking, which was shown in the post as out of control, and essentially close to alcoholism. I found this slightly offensive, and felt the need to comment on it! :) Nothing more!

Well, facts are facts - The nordic countries are some of the most well-functioning countries in the world, when looking at Employment rates, amount of homeless people, level of corruption in the government and many other main factors! And yes, we do get pissed over the weekend, sure! But we still get shit done! :D
