I'm not sure you're giving the situation the weight it deserves. If the person believes they're going to have a child, and are excited and expectantly looking forward to the day this life germinating inside of them is grown to the point that it comes out, a part of their life that they get to raise and live with, then suddenly that life inside of them dies, I can understand why that could be somewhat devastating to an individual.

It's not like your Tamagotchi died because you forgot to feed it, your child will no longer be born.

There are certainly many who fall to it, but I would argue those that use the name of Christ to seek personal gain are not truly Christian. The whole term 'Christian' means 'Christ-like', the whole point being to live in the way Christ did, and act as such.

The Bible itself warns that there will be many false prophets, it's not unexpected that liars abound where profit can be made.

Maybe? They seem to not focus too much on Christ, which is kinda what Christianity is supposed to be all about so it's probably debatable
