I am a farmer, and I do look at it by kilo as I need to know how much I am getting per kilo and how much I am getting shafted. What I am saying is cows do need pregnancy to produce milk, like all mammals, but the dairy cattle we have produced over millenia do not. Coloustrum is only produced via pregnancy milk in dairy cattle is not.

Veal is harvested once the beast is around 8-10 months. If you go to a store quality veal will easily sell for $37 a kg while milk will only sell for $2 the reason I am not concentrating on there price for the farmer is that it varies with who they deal with while store prices generally don't. Every mammal needs colostrum then normal milk for the first few weeks, not just grass, however if the milk is worth so little and it has such a great affect of growth (which it does) milk would not be viable.

Why is Britain there? Britain and Prussia were homies. And they squad goal was to *** france.

No they don't need a calf as they are breed to lactate without one. However beef cattle which do need a calf to lactate, their milk dries up once it is gone. I have a farm and Study agriculture.

Do you really think milk would be a viable business when meat can sell for $37 a kg but milk is $2 a litre? of course not a calf is worth much more then the milk you feed it.

No what I am saying is that if they need a calf their milk would dry up once it is gone, dairy cows do not need calf to lactate, this is not basic biology this is selective breeding from thousands of years of animal husbandry. Also by your logic the milk would never dry up with continual milking as it is BASIC biology, don't contradict yourself.

Btw my milk uncle was a farmer.

No milk cows don't need a calf to lactate, in fact the calf is likely going to swallow all of the profit. Your Logic is also flawed as if this was true all the milk would dry up once the calf is gone. You sir know jack shit about livestock. I own a farm.
