Sounds to me like dark matter.
We can explain x% of a phenomena, and for the rest y% we think that this is the main contributor, but we cant prove it. For me, random spread of genes sounds more plausible, just like physical attributes are randomly within a certain boundary, so are mental. But I have absolutely no clue about this topic, im just rambling.

Makes no sense to me. The shared environment is, up to a certain age, totally defined by your parents. Of course school and friends take up a big part too, but especially at an early age what unique environment is there that my parents/siblings do not experience but I do?

You all got issues. Pixar has made some great films. And they made some okay films. It has always been like that. Yea, maybe Disney buying them wasnt great for their creativity, but a studio having its own style is in no way prove of that. Many major animation studio, west or east, have their own style. And other studies copying that style has also always happened.
