Back when you got an ad at the start and the end of youtube vid it was acceptable, and they already were making billions. If you are one of the people that believe the "muh servers cost 1000000000$$ to run a day, ples mercy, disable adblock saar!" then you deserve the ads. When i open normal youtube app on my phone on accident and an ad plays before a vid i wanted to watch i just lose interest and close it. Facebook added mandatory AD you need to watch and so did instagram, the moment these pop up i just close the app, its that easy. Actually limits my doomscrolling, i like that.
