Radiation isn't the only cause of death brought about by a nuke. The nearest people are incinerated, then in a larger radius people are burnt to charcoal statues. In an even larger radius the shock-wave kills or injures people as well as collapsing buildings. Beyond that the radiation can spread and kill by radiation poisoning.

So it's also funny for the vast majority of Huge Lolers who haven't seen it yet...
