Fetus is not someone. It is not a person, more like a glimpse of meat or a plant, a living organism. The thing that gives life its value and rights is consciousness. But a fetus does not have consciousness.

You say abortion is denying someone their right to live, but a fetus does not have that right due to lack of consciousness. Basically there is no one from whom to deny the right to live, this so called "someone" does not exist. And one that does not exist can't be an objective to anything.

Its not about a fetus being alive or not. Its about it having an awareness, which is not possible for a fetus to have because it requires a brain.

The fetus does not yet have consciousness. So by doing abortion you do not kill a person nor a baby, you only prevent one from coming existence.
And I'm basically doing the same thing at this very moment for not having unprotected sex.
