Sunday is my 30th birthday. I usually don't care much about birthdays, never celebrated them outside of my close family. But this being my 30th actually feels like I reached a milestone. I feel accomplished and a bit proud of myself that I've made it this far. But I have nobody to celebrate it with. My coworkers don't care that much, we just don't meet or talk to each other after work even if we get along well. My best friend is abroad for two weeks on a business trip, and I just don't have any other close friends. So it's going to be the usual celebration with my parents and that's a little sad, but there's nothing I can do about it now I guess
