Spot on, you nailed it. I feel the same applies to movies casting black actors as traditionally white characters. The problem isn't the race swapping, but their need to show off how progressive they are.

No one complains about Idris Elba being Heimdall, because they clearly didn't cast him with that agenda. He was just the right man for the role.

I haven't bothered with the AC franchise since Black Flag, but in this game you can choose between the ninja girl or the samurai bloke, right? So the black man aside, why is everyone so against this game when it fulfills the desire? Just play the ninja lady.
