In which case, the British could well have crushed the revolution, but chose not to because they could not subdue the Americans, and would be forced to wipe them out, as this was very unproductive they chose to let the 'dirty rebels' continue with their lives, not knowing that these people would rave for hundreds of years about how they 'beat' the British when all the british did was decide not to exterminate them like pests.

The British did not wipe out the maori because they felt New Zealand was an unimportant little speck at the corner of the world. (which it is, I should know, I live there) They sent no 'real' soldiers to New Zealand, the only fighting forces the British used were some militia (in essence, some farmers and civilians armed with guns) who still did a fair job of killing the maori. If the British were to send some of their proper armed forces at the time, (even half-decent redcoats) there would be no to very little maori left, maybe some in the South Island. Why do you think there isn't any American Indians left? (Also, they were a lot more capable in terms of warfare than the maori.)
