Well meta means it is on an other level. E.g. a meta idea, is an idea about an idea. Or the metaanalysis is the analysis of the analysis (so analizing the way how you analyze is meta analysis)
So this pickup line is a pickup line about a pickup line therefore it is a meta pickup line.

because it is an instrument to re-cord other instruments (if they have been corded the wrong way), and because of it's structure the flute doesn't need ny cording (in its basic structure, there are flutes were you need to change/adjust the "mouthpiece")
