The big bang theory is called 'the big bang theory' for a reason.
It's a theory. It's not 100% true OR 100% false. It has SOME viability, but not enough to make it a sure thing.
We do see the Universe expanding, but that does NOT mean that it started as a molten ball of mass. Expansion is the observed phoenomena, and the big bang is the interpretation.
Furthermore, the Universe is NOT 14 billion years old. It may LOOK that way, but it's not. God made Adam and Eve to be adults. They may have looked 18 years old or older, but they were only around for a day. That's the way God made them. They didn't have to go through the whole aging process. God made the Universe the same way.
